POSSIBLE FOREIGN MATTER CONTAMINATION
Pilgrim’s Pride Corp. has recalled fully cooked chicken products that may have been contaminated with metal materials. The recall includes products such as Gold Kist Farms chicken strips, chicken patties and breakfast patties; Sweet Georgia breaded chicken tenderloins, popcorn-style chicken patty fritters, and hot and spicy breaded chicken patties.The products subject to recall have the number “EST. 20728” inside the USDA mark of inspection. If you have purchased this product, do not eat it! Throw it away or return it to your place of purchase. Learn more about all of the products included in this recall here.


POSSIBLE LISTERIA CONTAMINATION
Ghiringhelli Specialty Foods has recalled approximately 33,610 pounds of Trader Joe's Broccoli Slaw & Kale Salad with White Chicken Meat product due to a possible Listeria contamination. The product affected by this recall was produced April 26 through May 1, 2016, and has “USE BY” labels on the plastic packaging containing dates 05/02 through 05/07. If you purchased this product, throw it away or return it to your place of purchase.


LISTERIA OUTBREAK
CRF Frozen Foods recalled all organic and traditional frozen vegetable and fruit products processed in its Pasco, Washington, facility since May 1, 2014. Due to this recall, many other companies have recalled hundreds of other products sold under dozens of brand names. Some of the brand names include: Dr. Praeger's Sensible Foods, Inc., Hy-Vee, Inc., Ajinomoto Windsor, Inc., Kroger Simple Truth, Pictsweet Company. Find all frozen foods affected by this recall here. If you have any of the recalled products, throw them away and wash the freezer where they were stored with hot water and soap. Also wash your hands well after handling the recalled products. You may also return them to the store of purchase for a refund.


POSSIBLE LISTERIA CONTAMINATION
The Quaker Oats Company has issued a voluntary recall of a small quantity of Quaker Quinoa Granola Bars after an ingredient supplier was found to have distributed sunflower kernels that may be contaminated with Listeria. The recalled products are 6.1 ounce boxes of Quaker Quinoa Granola Bars Chocolate Nut Medley with UPC code 30000 32241 and Best Before Dates of: 10/16/2016, 10/17/2016 and 6.1 ounce boxes of Quaker Quinoa Granola Bars Yogurt, Fruit & Nut with UPC 30000 32243 and Best Before Dates of: 10/10/2016, 10/11/2016.
