CRASH & FALL HAZARD
Pacific Cycle has recalled Instep and Schwinn swivel wheel jogging strollers as the front wheel can become loose and detach. This recall involves single and double occupant swivel wheel jogging strollers that have a quick release mechanism for removing and re-attaching the front wheel. Instep Safari, Instep Grand Safari, Instep Flight, Schwinn Turismo and Schwinn Discover Single and Double Occupant Swivel jogging strollers are affected. These models come in a variety of colors. If you own one of these strollers, stop using it immediately and contact Pacific Cycle at 877.564.2261 to obtain a repair kit to secure the front wheel.


FAILURE TO MEET CHILD-RESISTANT CLOSURE REQUIREMENT
Liquid Plumr® Pro-Strength Foaming Clog Fighter®, Liquid Plumr® Industrial Strength Urgent Clear® and Liquid Plumr® Pro-Strength Urgent Clear® clog removers have all been recalled as the bottles are not child-resistant and children can remove the top, posing a risk of chemical burns and irritation to the skin and eyes. These products contain sodium hydroxide which is required by the Poison Prevention Packaging Act to be sealed with child-resistant packaging. If you have these products in your home, keep them away from children and immediately contact The Clorox Company’s Liquid Plumr call center at 855.490.0705 for disposal and refund instructions.
VIOLATION OF LEAD STANDARD
GSI Outdoors has issued a recall on their kids’ insulated water bottles sold exclusively at L.L. Bean. The lead solder at the exterior base of the bottle contains high levels of lead. Lead is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health issues. This recall involves five styles of kids’ insulated water bottles with printed graphics. The bottles are 13.5 ounces capacity with the following color prints: Dino Bones, Flower Power, Orange Grid camo, Purple Tie Dye Butterfly and Robo Shark. If own one of these water bottles, immediately stop using it and contact L.L.Bean at 800.555.9717 for a full refund.


VIOLATION OF LEAD STANDARD
Things Remembered has recalled their Silver bracelets and charm necklaces as the clear surface coating on the bracelets and necklaces contain lead in excess of the allowable limit. Lead is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health issues. This recall involves silver heart bracelets and sweet charm necklaces for children. The 6-inch, silver-plated bracelets have 10 silver hearts and circle links, a lobster claw clasp, and one silver heart-shaped charm. The necklaces are gold plated on a 13-inch box chain with a 2-inch extender, a lobster claw closure and three charms – a pink ice cream cone, a pink crystal cupcake and a gold-plated tag with “SWEET” engraved on it. POSSIBLE LISTERIA CONTAMINATION
Agave Dream has recalled Cappuccino Ice Cream because it has the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. If you purchased Agave Dream Cappuccino ice cream with “Best By” date 07/04/17 return it to the place of purchase for a full refund or contact the company at 866.993.4438.


POSSIBLE E. COLI CONTAMINATION
Simmons Prepared Foods, Inc. has recalled approximately 5,850 pounds of frozen, heat treated, not ready-to-eat (NRTE) chicken products that may be contaminated with E. coli. The items were produced on Jan. 25, 2016. If you bought these products, throw them away or return them to your place of purchase.
