LISTERIA RISK

Blue Bell Ice Cream is voluntarily recalling select products because they were made with a chocolate chip cookie dough ingredient that may contain Listeria monocytogenes. Listeria monocytogenes which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. This recall covers the following products: half gallons of Blue Bell Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and Blue Bell Cookie Two Step, and pints of Blue Bell Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. POSSIBLE FOREIGN MATTER CONTAMINATION

502 Boundary Blvd. Inc., formerly known as Fletcher’s Fine Foods Ltd., is recalling approximately 8,694 pounds of ham products that may be contaminated with extraneous materials, specifically rubber. The boneless, ready-to-eat ham items were produced on July 18, 2016. The following products are subject to recall: 6.02-lb. vacuum-sealed packages containing one “Fletcher’s Fine Foods CLASSICS Black Forest Brand Ham with Natural Juices.” If you've bought this product, do not eat it! ALLERGY ALERT

New Seasons Market has initiated a voluntary recall of its New Seasons Market 16oz. Creamy Almond Butter because it may contain undeclared peanuts. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to peanuts run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product. The recall affects customers who purchased the product with best by dates of 06/16/2017, 08/15/2017 and 08/30/2017 at New Seasons’ 19 locations in Oregon, Southern Washington and Northern California. CHOKING HAZARD

ALEX Toys has recalled ALEX Jr. Baby Builder, First Pops and First Snaps as small parts of the plastic toy building sets can detach, posing a choking hazard to young children. If you own these products, immediately take the recalled building sets away from children and contact ALEX at 844.310.6691 for a prepaid shipping envelope to return the product(s). ALEX will send consumers a full refund upon receipt of returned sets.
FALL HAZARD

Dorel Juvenile has recalled Safety 1st Step and Go Travel Systems. The stroller tray folding mechanism can partially disengage on one side when used with an infant car seat attached to the stroller, posing a fall hazard. Immediately stop using the recalled strollers with the infant car seat and contact Safety 1st at 866.762.3036 for a free repair kit.
