Bad Cords

Have you been practicing piano on a Roland Digital Electric Piano? Stop playing chords, and unplug the cord! The A/C cord has a faulty design that allows it to be plugged into the output jack by mistake. This can cause an electrical shock. Check your model number, and if you have one of the recalled products, unplug it, and contact Roland at 1-877-339-5494 for information on having a free repair kit sent or installed.

Gemini USB A/C Power Adaptors/Chargers

Shocking Chargers

If you charge your cell phone with a Gemini Adapter/Charger, you could be in for a literal shock.
Model number ADCP3-1000 of these little plastic cube charger/adapters can zap you and cause a burn. All colors - black, blue, red, green, and white - are being recalled. If you have this product, stop using it. Throw it away, then call Gemini at 1-877-230-4986 for information about recieving a refund.



Faulty Forks Cause Falls

Scott and Trek are recalling a combined 125,000 forks bicycles because they can break and cause the cyclist to crash. Check out the lot number on your Scott or Trek bike, and if you own this product, don't ride it. Call Scott at 1-888-607-8365, extension 2012, or Trek at 1-800-373-4594 for information taking on your bike to a local dealer for a repair.


Folding Bike, Cracking Frame

Tern Folding Bicycles are being recalled due to cracking frames which can cause the rider to crash or fall. Contact Stile Products at 1-888-570-8376, visit the Tern site for information, or take your bike to your local authorized dealer to have a free replacement frame installed.



Loose Screws Pose Shock Threat

Trane is recalling their XB300 American Standard Silver SL Air Conditioning System because faulty ground screws can pose a shock hazard. Turn off the a/c at the main breaker to check your model number, then contact Trane at 1-888-731-7561 if you have the affected product to arrange for a free inspection and repair.

If you have a phone charging kit manufactured by Lifeguard Press, stop using it. The charging units, which were sold under various brand names, can cause shocks or burns when they overheat or the prongs become detached from the plastic while unplugging. Contact the company at 1-800-992-3006 for information on receiving a full refund for your charging kit.

Sony is recalling its VAIO Flip PC laptops because the lithium-ion batteries inside can overheat and create a fire or burn hazard. If you have this product, stop using it, and contact Sony at 1-866-702-7669 to arrange for a free inspection, repair, or replacement.
