ESL, Interlogix Hard-Wired Smoke Alarms Recalled

Sleeping Smoke Alarms

The last thing you need is a smoke alarm asleep on the job! But if you have an ESL or Interlogix brand 400/500 series smoke detector, you may never receive that important wake-up call. Radio interference can block the signal and keep the product from alerting you if there is a fire. Check your model number here, and if you have one of the recalled products, contact Edwards United Technology at (800) 655-4497 or Interlogix online to arrange for a free replacement and installation of your fire alarm.

Overheating Heaters

With the chilly weather approaching, it's a tough time to find out your space heater is a hazard. But if you plan on keeping toasty by your Vornado Air space heater, you may want to add one more item to your fall shopping list. The company has received dozens of reports of the units overheating and melting and several that caught fire, causing injury, smoke inhalation, and property damage. Unplug this item, then visit the Vornado site for information about receiving a free replacement product.

Tipping TV

VIZIO is recalling its E-Series 39-inch and 42-inch televisions because the stand may become unstable or break, which can make the TV tip over. This creates a risk of injury. Detach the stand from the TV, move the television to a place where it will not pose a potential danger, then then contact VIZIO toll-free at (855) 472-7450 for a free replacement assembly.
