Frozen Raw Pet Foods Might Contain Listeria

Cat and dog owners, if you have been feeding your pup or kitty a raw food diet, beware. A major manufacturer of frozen raw pet foods - J.J. Fud's - is recalling several varieties of its product due to possible Listeria or other types of contamination. To date, the company has recalled its Chicken Tenders and Duck and Beef Strips. Check the list of recalled items here, and if you have this product in your home, return it to your retailer for a full refund. DO NOT FEED THIS FOOD TO YOUR PET.

Dog Food Poses Salmonella Threat

Salmonella is the possible culprit behind the recall of Nutrisca Chicken and Chick Pea Recipe Dry Dog Food, by Tuffy Pet Foods. Check your product against these lot code numbers. If you have the affected lot, wrap the food in a plastic bag, discard it in a covered trash can and call Nutrisca at 1-888-559-8833 for information on receiving a refund.
