March 28, 2017

FOREIGN MATTER CONTAMINATION

OK Food, Inc. is recalling approximately 933,272 pounds of breaded chicken products that may be
contaminated with extraneous materials, specifically metal. The ready-to-eat (RTE) breaded chicken items were produced on various dates from Dec. 19, 2016, through March 7, 2017. See all affected products here. Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.

UNDECLARED EGG ALLERGEN

Riviana Foods Inc. is voluntarily recalling 610 cases of certain coded Ronzoni® Thin Spaghetti cartons that may contain an egg fettuccine product. The affected Ronzoni Thin Spaghetti cartons do not declare the allergen "egg", which is an ingredient in the egg fettuccine product. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to egg run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products. Consumers should return the affected product to the store where they purchased it for a full refund.

UNDECLARED EGG ALLERGEN

Gerber Products Company is initiating a voluntary recall of Cheese Ravioli Gerber® Pasta Pick-Ups® because the egg allergen is missing from the "Contains" statement. The full ingredient list on the package does list “egg” as an ingredient; however, the “Contains” statement, designed to further alert parents to allergens in the recipe, did not include “egg”, as is required. Only consumers who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to egg are at risk of serious allergic reaction if they consume this product. Gerber encourages parents who have questions to contact them 24/7 at 800.510.7494.

BURN HAZARD

Energizer® XBOX ONE 2X Smart Chargers have been recalled as they can overheat and damage the XBOX ONE video game controller, posing a burn hazard to consumers. The chargers are black plastic and measure about 3.5 inches long, 5 inches wide and 11 inches tall. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled battery chargers and contact Performance Designed Products at 800.263.1156 to return the chargers for a full refund.
